Shepherdson College is one of nine bilingual schools in the Northern Territory. The school is located on Yolŋu land at Galiwin’ku, a small island community in North East Arnhem Land.
The population of the School proudly maintain its heritage to its First Nations language of Djambarrpuyŋu while also learning English.
The School has embraced Hear and Learn’s sounfield technology to capture teacher voices so that all parts of all words are captured by our Flexmike teacher microphones. Additionally, the School invested in our Access Media Connector and student Sharemike so that all sound sources are delivered to students equally.
